NEW DELHI: Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi called on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh here at 7RCR on Wednesday and sought parity on the gas pricing issue.
This was his first meeting with the Prime Minister after winning the last assembly elections in the state.
Later talking to reporters, Modi said he had very fruitful talks with the Prime Minister on a range of issues concerning the state.
The PM has promised to look into the gas price tussle, Modi said.
Modi said that the Prime Minister assured him of all possible help in programmes that will help the people of Gujarat.
The Gujarat chief minister said that he submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister on issues related to Sardar Sarovar Dam.
Narendra Modi is scheduled to address students in the national capital later in the day.
